Giorgio Armani, fondateur d'une des dernières maisons de mode italiennes indépendantes et roi de l'élégance intemporelle, a démenti vendredi être en négociation pour recruter Hedi Slimane.
Le créateur français a quitté Céline le mois dernier, après avoir plus que doublé le chiffre d’affaires de la maison, à 2,5 milliards d'euros, soit à peu près l’équivalent de l'activité mode d'Armani. Depuis, une rumeur s’est répandue selon laquelle Giorgio Armani, qui a fêté ses 90 ans en juillet, s’apprêtait à lui confier la direction de la création de sa maison.
