Les journalistes du principal quotidien économique français, Les Echos, ont protesté cette semaine contre le départ soudain du directeur de la rédaction. Ils affirment que Nicolas Barré a été débarqué en raison de la publication d’articles qui ont déplu à Bernard Arnault, le PDG du géant du luxe LVMH qui détient Les Echos.
LVMH a annoncé que Nicolas Barré quittait le quotidien après 10 ans au poste de directeur de la rédaction pour prendre de nouvelles fonctions au sein de la société mère, le groupe Les Echos-Le Parisien, mais n'a pas précisé ce qu'il ferait. La Société des journalistes (SDJ) des Echos s'est interrogée sur le lien entre ce départ et la publication ces dernières semaines d’articles que Bernard Arnault n'aurait pas appréciés.
