LVMH, le numéro un mondial de la mode et du luxe, a annoncé cette semaine qu’il s’attendait à ce que 2026 soit aussi éprouvante que 2025. Côté positif : le cash-flow disponible progresserait à nouveau et Dior et Louis Vuitton, qui contribuent le plus aux bénéfices du groupe, ont enregistré de solides performances en janvier.
L’action LVMH a reculé d’environ 5 % après ces annonces, atteignant son plus bas niveau depuis quatre mois. Les investisseurs s’inquiètent de plus en plus d’une baisse continue et structurelle de la demande pour les articles de luxe. Chaque semaine apporte son lot d’articles affirmant que les consommateurs préfèrent s’offrir des voyages, des restaurants et des activités que des sacs, des chaussures, des vêtements et des alcools de marque.
