Depuis une vingtaine d’années, les Dolce et les Gabbana dépensent l’argent de leur maison sans compter. Aujourd’hui, cette légèreté pourrait lui coûter son indépendance. Comme nombre de ses concurrents, D&G subit la baisse des dépenses de luxe, la guerre au Moyen-Orient, et elle accumule les pertes. Son chiffre d’affaires serait inférieur à 1,8 milliard d'euros.
