Le secteur de l’horlogerie étant à la peine, investir dans la joaillerie est malin. Le groupe suisse Richemont, propriétaire de Cartier, et Watches of Switzerland Group (WoSG), le plus grand détaillant britannique de montres Rolex et Omega, l'ont bien compris.
Cette semaine, ils ont tous les deux annoncé l’acquisition d’un joaillier italien. Richemont s’est offert le Milanais Vhernier, et WoSG la filiale américaine de Roberto Coin, un joaillier peu connu en Europe mais populaire en Amérique du Nord.
