LVMH series - Episode One : As LVMH old guard bow out, a new generation rises
The changing of the guard at LVMH has begun. The appointment of Louis Vuitton’s No.2 Anthony Ledru as Tiffany & Co’s new boss has sparked a fresh round of musical chairs at the world’s biggest luxury group. As many as half of the 12-strong executive committee, excluding chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault, are expected to either leave or take new responsibilities in the next six to 24 months, Miss Tweed has learned. It will be the most important management and generational change the group has seen in its more than 30-year history. Some old guards who have been with LVMH for decades will step aside while others will migrate to greater pastures.
