Le redressement de Yoox-Net-A-Porter (YNAP) est le plus grand défi auquel José Neves est confronté depuis qu’il a lancé Farfetch en 2008. L'image et la crédibilité de Farfetch et de son PDG sont en jeu. Si José Neves n’arrive pas à mettre le détaillant de mode et de luxe sur de bons rails, il est bien possible que personne n'y parvienne. Cinq semaines après l’annonce de l’accord entre Farfetch et Richemont, l'entrepreneur portugais âgé de 48 ans travaille déjà activement sur la préparation de l’intégration de YNAP. Farfetch a accepté d'acheter 47,5 % de ce dernier au géant suisse du luxe et s'est engagé à en acquérir le contrôle s’il devient rentable d'ici trois à cinq ans. Intégrer YNAP à la galaxie Farfetch est un projet pharaonique.
