Despite the pandemic and the ruble’s slide against major currencies, business in Russia is so brisk that Bulgari plans to open a third boutique in Moscow in the third quarter of next year, the world’s third-largest jeweler told Miss Tweed.
“In Europe today, Russia is by far the most buoyant market, and it is most likely to become the number one European market for Bulgari in the next few years,” Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin said on Nov. 24, answering a question from Miss Tweed at the FT Business of Luxury Summit, held online this year.
