Dior, the iconic French luxury brand, is on fire. It has leapfrogged rival heavyweight Gucci in key areas - growth, brand visibility and desirability. When LVMH, Dior’s parent, publishes third-quarter sales figures on Oct. 12, analysts expect Dior to reveal stellar figures.
But when Gucci’s parent company, Kering, publishes its own third-quarter sales figures a week later analysts expect the Italian brand to reveal much less impressive growth figures than Dior.
