Stories on fashion and luxury you won't read elsewhere
Dear readers and summiteers,
Miss Tweed is excited to announce that we will be hosting the fourth edition of our Luxury at the Summit in Val d’Isère April 10-13, 2025.
Our summit next year will be around the theme: Sustainability – what works and doesn’t. In the past decade, fashion and luxury brands have invested a lot of time and money to help preserve the environment and minimize waste and pollution. It’s been a trial-and-error process. Some projects have made a difference, while others have allowed brands to simply tick the “sustainability” box. Fashion, beauty, jewelry and watch brands will come explain to us why their initiatives have had a real impact.
Matthieu Blazy has landed the most coveted job in fashion: Creative Director of Chanel. He will present his first collection in October 2025. Chanel is giving him the luxury of time to get the brand under his skin and think about what his vision for the storied house will be.
Slimane left Celine last month after more than doubling the French label’s sales to €2.5 billion – roughly the size of Armani’s fashion business.
Miss Tweed works only for its readers – no one else. Good readers breed good stories.
Our subscribers represent our main source of funding. But we need more to help us finance the revamp of Miss Tweed’s website and the expansion of our coverage. Every contribution counts, whether it is €100 or €500. Freedom of expression is in your hands.
A Year in the News 2023-2024 is a compilation of Miss Tweed's stories published during its fourth year. Like the third yearbook, it is a limited edition. Hence, it is a collector's item. It's designed to celebrate the work of illustrator Claire Laude. Each illustration runs next to the first two paragraphs of the story. It does not contain the entire story.
